This might sound like a shout in the desert, I'm not even sure that people will see it, but it has to be said.
I had to deal with the DA Customer [lack of] service recently, again.
During the free shipping days before Christmas, I ordered some potential gifts, but didn't receive anything. The CS told me, the package got lost and no one keeps track of the economy class mailing. CS offered me to use FedEx, but to Finland, the cost is ten times more than the value of the purchase alone, so there's no point in it. However, they said they'll FedEx'd it the next day for their expense.
A month later - nothing.
I contacted them again, asking how more ridiculous this is going to become, and if they cannot deliver, they might as well return my points.
I did get my points back, but no apology for their lousy delivery systems, my troubles, or any answer whatsoever.
There are few questions left in me:
Did anyone even bothered to resend the package?
Why does DA have online store, if they can't deliver outside of USA and Canada?
Does anyone there even care about their users, especially if they've been a part of DA for 5+ years, or we're just statistical numbers?
Speaking of statistics, I just checked my watchers and surprise, surprise - more than half of them are inactive/banned users, who only keep the count up [because of DA's policy of not deleting profiles, for any reason].
Sad to say, the only thing keeping me on DA for now is that I have nearly 1000 points, which I'd like very much to spend on something. Problem is, I don't know if it can ever be delivered. If it happens like that next time I decide to make use of a good deal, I'll figure out some contest and will give away some points.
I would appreciate your opinions, if you've had to deal with Customer service here, lack of delivery, or any suggestions on what to do with the points.
